House Rules
Welcome to Villetta Poggiodoro Holiday Home! To ensure everyone has a pleasant and carefree stay, we've prepared some simple rules. Adhering to these guidelines will help us maintain the harmony and comfort that distinguish us.
Evening Peace and Quiet
Our area is renowned for its peace and quiet, especially in the evening. We kindly ask you to avoid noise that might disturb the neighbours. Loud parties and persistently barking dogs are not allowed out of respect for public tranquility and to avoid disturbing local residents.
Tips for an Optimal Stay
Feel free to pick up and read the books available in several languages, perhaps relaxing on the hammock, swing, or sun loungers on the lawn. At the back of the house, you'll find a grill perfect for tasty fish barbecues. We have three showers, including a convenient outdoor shower that doesn't need cleaning after use. As for air conditioning, the system is centralized: activate the central heat pump and then the units in the desired rooms. It is crucial to turn off the central system when you leave the house to avoid excessive consumption and condensation. We also ask you to close the curtains in case of wind or rain to prevent damage, for which penalties may apply. A vintage radio, Alexa, and a TV are also at your disposal.
In Case of Problems or Emergencies
Don't worry if you encounter any problems during your stay, whether it's a breakdown or an emergency. Your point of contact is Ms. Angela. For any needs, do not hesitate to contact her at 320 0739056. She will be happy to assist you promptly.
Our Story
Stefano is the host
I live in Florence. I'm an electronics engineer. I love the sea. I've spent many wonderful holidays with my family in Castiglione and explored the entire Tuscan archipelago by sea. I chose this property because I'm fond of these fascinating places, which I now know very well, and I want to preserve them at their best. I also feel the need for change, so sharing them is a pleasure.
What makes this property unique?
Castiglione della Pescaia is a typical Italian seaside village, which for years lived solely on fishing and since the 1970s has thrived on tourism. The house is not in the village itself, but just above the medieval castle. The choice to stay here was due to wanting to be away from the summer crowds and be able to experience the place from above. Here, the atmosphere is cool and tranquil. In the village, you can dine or go shopping, and if you like, you can walk through the medieval village. The house has a swing on the terrace and a sturdy hammock in the garden to enjoy the view and the cool air. In the garden there are two orange trees, a bougainvillea and other flowering plants, but the entire road and the entire hill are full of truly lush and colorful vegetation that makes it a special place and different from the usual seaside rentals.
